Mō te tūnga | About the role

The Executive Assistant works alongside the Chief Executive, the Leadership Team, and Deaf Aotearoa’s Boards across Aotearoa, to support Deaf Aotearoa’s strategic direction. This position supports and reports to the Chief Executive, who guides a leadership team located across the country.

We are looking for an outstanding Executive Assistant with a high level of initiative, spectacular multi-tasking skills, and a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a collaborative, integrated team that takes great pride in their contribution to the achievements of Deaf Aotearoa.

Key responsibilities include supporting the CE and liaising with stakeholders at all levels. There will be opportunities to manage projects and organise events, as well as the usual senior administration responsibilities.

This is a full-time, fixed-term (11 months) role to cover parental leave and will be based in Wellington.
