Kate Rowley is a deaf researcher, born into a deaf family in England. As an expert in language and literacy development of deaf children, Dr Rowley is interested in promoting bilingualism & multilingualism in deaf children and adults.

Kate is the director of Language Wise, an education business that delivers training in deaf education, psycholinguistics and deaf community development, she wants to share her knowledge and passion with the deaf community, parents with deaf children and professionals working with deaf children & adults. Currently, Kate is a lecturer in Deafness, Cognition & Language (DCAL) at University College London.

Deaf community and parents of Deaf children are invited.

NZSL interpreters and refreshments will be provided.
