Online Voting for members joining the AGM on Zoom has been confirmed for the AGM tomorrow.
When voting happens for remits and motions, a pop-up will appear on screen.
Voting for operational matters – minutes, accepting reports, auditor etc.- will still be done by raising hands in the room, and by using the “hand up” icon on the Zoom screen.
The anonymous voting is for the remits and motions only.
All people present on Zoom must complete the voting, even if you are not a voting member. If you are not a voting member, you must tick the Non Voting Member box.
The independent scrutineer, Julie Hardaker, will not be able to see the name of the voting person.
If you have submitted a proxy voting form to have another member vote on your behalf and you then attend the AGM, in person or on Zoom, your proxy vote must be withdrawn, and it will not be counted. You will need to vote for yourself if you attend the AGM in person or online.
These instructions will be repeated at the AGM.
If you are using a mobile device, such as an iPhone, tablet, or iPad, it is important that you access the Zoom via the Zoom app, not via the browser, as you may not be able to see the voting pop-up via the browser. You can download the Zoom app from the Apple store, Google store, or wherever you usually download apps for your device.
