Do you have a little star in the making? Would your child like to see themselves “world famous in dcNZ”
Deaf Children NZ are searching for our fabulous tamariki to showcase their NZ sign language learning.
To celebrate NZSL week 5th -11th May 2025, DCNZ wants to make our little ones SHINE BRIGHT.
The theme for 2025 is “An Aotearoa where anyone can sign” so we would like our tamariki to introduce themselves with their name and whereabouts they like to sign – it could be school, with friends, and NZSL classes, with whanau, during sports activities, travelling or even on the farm. 
It is up to them to let us know where they like to sign.
Just send us a clear video of your child introducing themselves and telling us a little bit about themselves and whereabouts they like to sign and we will post it on our socials during NZSL week. We want to increase awareness of NZSL in our communities and around Aotearoa!
