Hello! My name is Megan. My role at Deaf Aotearoa is as an iSign Graduate Interpreter (based in Wellington). This means I’m part of a two-year programme here. Last year, I graduated from AUT and joined Deaf Aotearoa. It’s been a year now, and during this time, I’ve been interpreting, doing a lot of self-reflection, learning and developing my skills. I have one more year left until I’m free!
My favorite thing about interpreting is the variety—it’s different every day. For example, clothing. Have a look!
In my free time, I love theatre! I enjoy watching my friends’ and family’s plays, and I also perform on stage myself.
