I am Hunter Mulder, a PhD student at the VUW school of design. My research is broken into three case studies: computer games for people with visual disabilities, people who are deaf/hard of hearing, and people with motor impairment of the hands and arms. I am now at the stage that I am looking to begin user testing of these game prototypes with disabled users. The testers will be asked to play either three short computer game prototypes or one longer prototype followed by a short interview. The testing will take place at Te Aro campus, or another location of the participant’s choice should you prefer, and will last up to an hour. Reimbursement for travel costs will be offered to any individuals that agree to take part.
If you would like to test some computer game prototypes, please contact me to get involved!
