What rights should people have when using health or disability services? What should happen if these rights aren’t respected?
The Health and Disability Commissioner Act (the Act) and the Code of Rights (the Code) are designed to safeguard people’s rights when using health or disability services.
It has been over a decade since any changes were made to them, and the Health and Disability Commissioner (HDC) is currently reviewing them. HDC want to hear from you.
