Outdoor Accessibility Survey

Recreation Aotearoa and the Department of Conservation are doing an online survey about the outdoor recreation activities people with disabilities and tāngata whaikaha Māori would like to be doing, and the experiences they’ve had in the outdoors.

Providers of outdoor recreation activities and spaces currently have little information about the experiences of people with disabilities and tāngata whaikaha Māori to help design and develop better services.

This survey is one way to help build this understanding, and we want to hear directly from people with disabilities and/or their family/whānau/friends and support persons.

Important information:

  • Responses to this survey will always remain confidential.
  • Participating in this survey is voluntary. It will take between 5 and 20 minutes to complete, depending upon your responses.
  • To thank you for your time, completed surveys can go in the draw to win a $500 Visa Prezzy® card.
  • The survey will be open until 5:00pm Friday April 12th.
