TRANSCRIPT: Hello, my name is Cheryl. I work as a Child & Youth Team Leader, and my office at Deaf Aotearoa is in… Hawkes Bay! It’s a beautiful place.
When I first started working for Deaf Aotearoa, I was in Auckland working in the Employment service, then in Hauora as a Pathway Assessor and I also worked in First Signs, teaching children and families NZSL. After some time, I moved to Hawkes Bay and I had a different job working with youth, then I came back to Deaf Aotearoa! It’s been a total of almost 10 years I’ve been working here.
I love to travel, swim in the sea and read books!
