Government’s Cost of Living payment

Kia ora,
Are you aware about the Government’s $350 payment? This is for helping out with living costs. Cost of living means prices have gone up. For example, petrol, food, rent/mortgage.

If you earn under $70,000, you are a New Zealand Tax Resident over 18 years old and you do not receive Winter Energy payments? If yes to all those three criteria, then you are eligible.

It is important to check your IRD information and update your bank account details. Check as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out.
$350 will be split over three payments of $116 each. First payments will go out next Monday (1st August 2022).
