The Deaf Aotearoa Executive Board recently had a Board Meeting and there are some changes to the Executive Board. Oliver Ferguson has been the Deaf Aotearoa President for the past 5 years and a member of the Executive Board for 10 years, but he has decided that it is time to step down and pass on the Presidency to another person. We wish to congratulate Joanne Klaver who is now the new President of Deaf Aotearoa.
Also because of some recent changes to the Deaf Aotearoa Constitution, the Executive Board also needed a Chairperson. The Chairperson for the Executive Board is Anthony Sammons.
We wish Oliver Ferguson well, and thank him for his years of service for Deaf Aotearoa and the New Zealand Deaf Community.
