New Zealand will remain at the existing Alert Levels until 11:59pm on Sunday 30 August 2020.

Auckland will stay at Alert Level 3. The rest of the country will remain at Alert Level 2.

If there is no significant change in the size and nature of the cluster/community cases between now and Sunday, the Auckland region will move down to Alert Level 2 from 11:59pm with some additional restrictions on gathering sizes.

Gatherings will continue to be limited to 10 people.

Funerals and tangihana will be limited to 50 people, and have to meet other conditions set by the Ministry of Health.

Outside Auckland, gatherings such as church services and social events will continue to be limited to 100 people.

Schools and workplaces will reopen in Auckland next week.

These settings will be in place for 1 week, and will be reviewed again before Sunday 6 September 2020.
