The Disability Directorate is hosting a livestream conversation with people who access and provide disability support services – and they want you to join them.
They’ve been travelling around Aotearoa meeting with disabled people and their whānau, carers and providers to talk about how they can build a better future together.
They want to share what they’ve heard, talk about their vision for the future, and let you know what they’re doing next.
How can you be involved?
Join the conversation by watching the livestream on the Ministry’s Youtube channel.

Time: 6 pm – 7 pm
Ask us questions
You can send questions before the livestream by emailing them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can ask questions during the livestream via a live chat (you will need a Google account to do this) or email them to them at email@example.com.
They will try to answer as many questions as we can during the livestream. If they can’t answer them all in the hour, they will share more information on their website after the conversation.
Will this be accessible?
There will be a New Zealand Sign Language interpreter during the livestream session.
A transcript of the livestream will be available on their website 3 – 5 days after the livestream.
An Easy Read version of the key themes from the livestream will also be available on their website no later than 2 – 3 weeks after the livestream.

Anyone who accesses or provides disability support services.
If you – or someone you know – cannot attend a community conversation then this is a further opportunity to engage with them.
