About Outward Bound
Outward Bound shows people how to improve themselves through challenge and adventure in the outdoors. Participants are challenged to experience new things such as tramping, sailing, rock climbing and kayaking in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds.
About the Deaf Adventure course
Deaf Adventure is an 8 day course for people who are Deaf or hearing impaired. Outward Bound has run seven Deaf Adventure courses since 2002, with the last course held in 2009. Outward Bound wants to run the next course from Saturday 19 March to Saturday 26 March 2011.
Working with the Deaf community
Outward Bound wants to work with Deaf societies, clubs and youth groups in New Zealand to promote the course and support their members to attend. We want you to be involved too!
