The Documentary Edge Festival is coming to Wellington! From 17 May - 3 June, 72 documentaries from all over the world will be screened at Angelika at Reading Cinemas Courtenay and the City Gallery. One of the films that has been selected for this year's programma is Deaf Jam. The film depicts the story of a deaf teen that boldly enters the spoken word poetry slam scene. Using American Sign Language (ASL), she creates a new form of collaboration/performance of slam poetry.
Deaf Jam is screening at:
